arrrghhh no Arsenal won....they didnt deserve to lose though and credit to them but the tie is by no means over IMO.
That Cicinho player is funny....great going foward absolute rubbish defending and should have been sent off IMO but i have warmed to him dunno why ;)
Ronaldo should have been subbed hes now too fat, too slow and cant cut it against a fast defender anymore, why they took off Robinho who was one of the better Real players instead of taking off Ronaldo is odd IMO.

Look foward to the second leg.

liverpool lost though....saw bits and the match look awful as soon as they named gerrard as a sub you knew it would be a substandard liverpool which would show up ;)

Grudge Match Part 3 tomorrow though...........Chelsea vs. Barcelona....Ronaldinho hopefully ripping the Chelsea defence apart ;)

Truly fantastic performance from Arsenal they ripped Real apart on the break so many times, should have had more than one really, and yeah Cicinho definately should have been sent off, Fabregas was booked for a quite similar but not as bad challange that Cicinho got away with as it would have been a second for him.

Yeh the ref was lenient on Cicinho....but hes a funny player and i like him now dont get why ;)
ITV's Bias is annoying though....yes Arsenal beat Real Madrid but every team in the last 16 is a potential winner not just Arsenal.
Hopefully an english team get thrashed so ITV can shut it

found this quote on Ronaldo
Cant believe Ronaldo hasnt been brought off, Hes sweating like a Gypsie with a Mortgage

arsenal were just fantastic! I thought the back 4 played really well considering how old they are..and febregas was quality.

HENRY! He's just such a class act, he had a stormer. Arsenal just played fantastically, and the real defence stayed at home too - how much room did arsenal have on the counter attack?!

arsenal were superb, i dont think i have seen ljungberg play like that for about 2 seasons, he was a real talent tonight. even reyes played well which was a surprise. its also great that it looks like our defence is starting to get its act together.

You broke the thread ;)

I wish I could see clips from the game, but good job Arsenal (Y).

I just hope Ronaldo either goes to Internazionale or to Flamengo, but to go to Flamengo he'll have to pay Real to release him :(

I strongly fancy revenge for Barca, although Chelsea's complete disgrace of a pitch won't help.

I don't think people should keep praising coaches too much, it brings the focus of the game to the wrong place and it really detracts from the game. In that little cocky bastard's case, will just make him more arrogant (if possible).

Anyways, if Barça have their full line-up I think they'll get it this time, I really want Ronaldinho Gaúcho to destroy Chelsea. I'd love to see a 3x0 or 4x0!

Mourinho has the right to be cocky IMO...he is respectful just as much as he is cocky and whatsmore he is funny.
In recent times he wons the Champions League, UEFA Cup, Portuguese League, Portuguese Cup, Premiership, Carling Cup.
Long way from being an interpreter with apparently no football knowledge....he has made the difference at Chelsea compare what he did to that of Claudio Raneiri.

anyway tonight should be a 2-2 draw IMO

I think it will be a 1-0 Barca victory.

A good few goals, 2 - 1 barca I reckon.

I also I think that barca will reply to Chelsea's cheating with the pitch by getting "fowled" by Lampard and Terry often, since if either get a yellow they miss next round. Could be a nice Mourinho-esque tactic!

Looking forward to seeing a good battle.

thats not really a fair comparison as Raneiri only had one year of Abramovich's money and built an already excellent squad for Mourinho to take over and add further too. Plus Raneiri's a crap manager anyway ;)
