Yeah, my main problem has been reliability, espcially in the past couple of races. I have a knack of picking drivers that usually do well in the race but just aren't there at the end.

This is pathetic! Only 3 drivers of my pick (which excisted of 10 drivers) have actually made it to the finish! Luckily, I had MS... Total: 20 points.

ROFL, I had both McLarens, Heidfeld and Webber! :) Worst first corner for my scoring of all time lol.

The RS went out, leaving me thankfully with MS and Fisi. Still, that's gonna make it very difficult for the rest of the season. Broders is looking in cruise control at the moment.

Oh yeah! 41 points, it could have been more if that Williams could finish a race. My calculations tell me there's only a 32 point gap covering the top 6 now. Roll on the last 6 races!

I've had a couple of really bad races :(

I need to lift my game again if I'm going to reclaim second place which I think I've now just lost.

Another month, another chance for me to mention that it'd be really close if I hadn't forgotten Monaco ;)

But if anyone's getting pissed with me yet, at least take solace in the poor run of form I'm enjoying recently whilst actually remembering to play. :) I maintain that Monaco cost me 23 points, and AFAIK broders is further ahead than that anyway.

31 for me - I had both Renaults and Kimi lol. :) After Qualifying it was looking pretty sweet for me, obviously I'm gutted that Alonso retired.

I've decided that next year, I'm not going to take part. It's affecting the way I watch the races. Any other time I would have thought, "Alonso out? That's great for the Championship!" but with GridBids it's a case of "Dammit, I picked him".

Yeah, I have that too. For example when MS is in front of Kimi (I am a Kimi fan) and retires I think: "YAY!!" but I also think "There go my points" ;)

Hmm, don't know what I thought I picked but it only bagged me 23 points, not 31... ooh dear, I need a bit of luck now :)

What I could REALLY do with is the 'dropped scores' system they ran last year, the 2 worst results didn't count. Hungary was one such race!

I didn't get a reminder for the Chinese GP so I missed that one :(

Let's hope the Japanese brings me some luck!

Results are in... Congrats to broders, who is this year's GridBids champion! :)

Co-incidentally, just for my own purposes, I employed the "dropped scores" system which was in use last season, whereby the lowest 2 scores didn't count to the overall tally. This is primarily because I missed 2 races. :)

As suspected, this system puts me up to second place, but even relying on the picks I DID choose, broders is still clear and undisputed number 1. A bottle of champagne and bragging rights to him! ;-)

Well I got a lucky 2nd place there really, although I did have a noticable improvement in the second half of the season. Well done to broders though, we had no chance. :)
