I've never picked Alonso, unless I did for the first race. There just aren't enough points left once you've picked him.

I've picked Alonso for this race because, put simply, that's 15 points in the bag. And due to finished 2nd in the last 2 races, he's probably cheaper now than he'll be for a long time.

It's either FA or MS to be honest, unless you're banking on both of them retiring (unlikely) or McLaren beating them (HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!). But this weekend, I thought the FA option to be a far safer bet than MS.

The only question I now have is picking both Williams drivers, when I could have gone for Fisi instead. My reasoning was that Fisi is crap at the moment. :) Unfortunately, it looks like he's proven me wrong!

Yeah, I see Fisichella as too much of a reliability.

Edit: Of course, what I meant to say was liability!

Yeah, I usually picked Alonso because it was a certain 15 or 12 points, but it meant you had to be REALLY good at picking the right drivers alongside him.

I think I managed it this time :) 35 points if I'm not mistaken. If I'd have taken Fisi instead of the 2 Williams it would have been 40, but hey, what's 5 points? :)

Unless I counted it up wrong, I got 35 too

d_mon, if my maths is correct you've got 36, which would give you the win in this Round by 1 point.

Git. ;)

I was all set to do really well, until all my cars started retiring.

I had Webber, Raikkonnen, Trulli and Rosberg (and Schumacher) :(

Well I always submit my picks on Thursday afternoon, at the latest possible time so I am as best informed as I can be.

Except I forgot that Monaco practice started on bloody Thursday! :( So I just didn't get my picks in at all this week. What a crap way to lose the lead of the forum league. :(

Yeah, I saw that, bit of a bummer. Had you decided who you were going to pick?

Yes, DC was right up on my list because he's a Monaco specialist. He was so cheap too! Majorly lost out there. I'd opted for both McLarens and Button, with Heidfeld filling the final space, so although it wouldn't have been a major score I still would have taken 26 points by my calculations (Montoya, DC, Heidfeld scoring). That's a big gap to try and pull back.

Yeah, I figured DC would score, I was sure I picked him, but clearly I didn't. I figured the Williams cars would do well, the McLarens too, and since I couldn't decide which driver to pick, I took both. It would've worked - if they'd finished :(

Annoyingly, if Trulli, Raikkonen and Webber had all finished I would have etched around 40 points. D'oh!

Wow, the gamble paid off! :) I only picked 3 drivers in total this weekend, and lo and behold they finish 1-2-3 hehe.

I needed SOMETHING big after my embarrassing forgetting to submit my picks in Monaco, so 37 points will do nicely. So glad they all finished though...

Yeah I noticed! I was like "wow, I've got 35 points, not bad. let's see how everyone else did...". Everytime I get a good score you're always one-step ahead of me. It's looking good for the second half of the season, we're all pretty close.

9 races gone, 9 to go! So far there are plenty of us that can win still. Looking forward to the final half of the season.

I had a bad race which, let's face it, wasn't good after I forgot Monaco. I'm going to keep mentioning it at every available opportunity because the 20 points from thatr ace would have put me right up there.
