Well, the new F1 season is 3 weeks away so I guess it would be a good time to bring up the annual Grid Bids reminder to new folks and past players that have forgotten about it.

Grid Bids is a very simple Fantasy F1 competition and we at GPG also have our own group so if you want to join us just sign up and make a request in this thread to be added to the GPG group.

A more in-depth explanation of the game can be found on the Grid Bids website.

Good luck!

PS @ The Lopper: I will beat you!!! :)

I think this season should be really good. Bahrain looks to be quite a lottery really.

meh, I didn't see it when I rapidly scanned the list so I created a new one ;)

But it makes much more sense to use the one that's already there. Apologies.

Sadly it seems the "dropped scores" system isn't being used this year. This means I'll have to be even better than usual because I always miss one race per year in America, where internet access is rubbish unless it's an AOL-approved site.

Last year I put a £5 bet on Fisichella winning in Melbourne as soon as the bookies opened. He was at 33/1... :)

I also started last year's GridBids in 4th place after the first race lol, so I've got a lot to live up to this year.
