been watching some bits from the show on Motors TV over the past few days, and today there was a re-cap of the event, on Motors TV from 5:30-7pm.

the F1 cars display looked great, like a real race scene in Monaco, instead of just putting them in a line like they're on a grid.

Matt Bishop was there walking through the grid talking about the cars and drivers.

did anyone go? any pictures?

cheers

i went on the first trade day and to be honest, i was disappointed with the show. i thought the historical f1 display was better than the monaco grid really.

I went a few years ago, and it was good in places, with some disappointments. I do recommend at least one visit to anyone though.

Verdict: Good to Firm.

Me and Ian went. It was the first time I've been and thought it was great, especially the arena action which was stunning from a show point of view, and then watching it from the paddock you got a much better view of the track action on the corner to the left of the grandstands.

Karting was free too, but it closed before we realised :( Some nutty drivers though ;)

i saw something about Red Bull Trak Atak, with Liuzzi karting. Louise Goodman and Jeremy Clarkson's wife were also there and karting.

and DC gave an interview.

Sid Watkins' wife interviewed Bernie too.

thanks for those links/pics Nick.

i got free tickets to what i thought was the max power show and it turned out to be the classic motor show. tripe apart from the last bit where all the fat motors came out.

I went too, was pretty good, fumes in the live hall did my head in tho, especially as we had the last show which was just stock cars, (which bore me a little)

Don't care if it was free, there is no way I was getting in a kart with those nutters and that shambles of a track! At one point a car slid into the track armco and it came loose and bounced into the track, a kart flew into it and pushed it round so it was blocking the track... Whats your natural reaction when you see a armco wall? to stop? no! speed on! about 10 cars plowed into it and caused mayhem! I couldn't get my camera out cause I was in hysterics ;)

It was good though! The arena was great :D We stayed at the Autosport stand for a bit to get bored to tears by Coulthard hehe :)
