I suppose by the same rule, it is only ok to throw things at people if you are throwing them at politicians....

Yes, Sam, he visited Sheffield University in November. He got plenty of verbal abuse, but I didn't throw anything because there were 4 police officers within catching distance of me - I didn't fancy my chances of escaping without charges

Yes, Sam, he visited Sheffield University in November. He got plenty of verbal abuse, but I didn't throw anything because there were 4 police officers within catching distance of me - I didn't fancy my chances of escaping without charges

of course it is, but i don't mean knives or weapons. eggs/cream pies are harmless.
the whole parliament thing is like a pantomime, where they all boo and hiss when their opposition is speaking. so throwing eggs/pies fits in with this theme.
