awfulness

Apparently that awful "had a bad day" song isn't by james blunt :S I thought it was but am told it isn't - it sounds like the same kind of @#$%& he would do though to be honest. Awful awful awful. I don't even listen to the radio.

Today I was trying to take back a motherboard with me dad and while waiting in the queue the song came on - they had the radio on in the shop on the local "mercia" radio - basically it's like a chain of "local" radio things except they arent really local since they are all the same and look / play the same stuff - leicester sound etc if I remember is for leicsceter though I cant remember how I know this and there is one for reading too, I think all over the country. Anyway, they played that song and I wanted to shoot the sound system or something or just die. Afterwards they played some other horrible song that I thik was a mid nineites one or somethting but anyway I don't seem to like the radio. Surely there must be some good stuff to listen to out there? radio 1 is just as @#$%& - apparently there was good stuff when john peel was still alive but I was never unlazy enough to actually find out when it was on and tyhen listen - I dont understand how you are meant to find when good radio stuff is on :D

Anyway does anyone else hate this song too?

Check out the Zane Lowe show on radio 1, and if you've got digital tv or radio (or live in london) then Xfm is good too. That's all new music, really good stuff. Just like the JP show Zane plays stuff you like, stuff you wont, stuff your like "wtf!" but its interesting anyway.


That song is Daniel Powter, and is indeed utter shite imo.

yeah I've hated that song since it came out too, and like Blunt, its hailed and applauded as a good song, when its just boring drivel.

i listen to Zane Lowe too, and the rock show with Mike Davis is quite good too.

I also reccomend XFM. Fantastic radio station, wish I could get it on DAB radio in Coventry.

I got lucky and managed to tune in to "Just a Minute" a Sunday morning earlier this summer on a Sunday. Check the newspapers yourself to find out when it's on, it's great.
