it looks great but is it what sportscar racing needs? I really don't think so. Get some good privateer competitive racing going like we have had this year but now Audi will come back in and dominate again...

Sorry for the dumb question, but is it a rule that those prototype car should fake car for two people?

Isn't the driver allowed to be in the center of it and the car just have one (sorry I forgot the word for it, it's that thing that goes behind the drivers head)?

I thought you disliked manufacturer support of F1 because they're all going to pull out in a few years when they stop winning?

and in a few years there will be a rule that the car needs at least 4 seats, to make it legal the driver must have a wife and two kids and they will win the lemans like a happy familiy :p


serious: it's a stupid rule IMO, they could simply say that the car must have a roof and that would solve everything

Haven't LMP cars had to be able to seat 2 people for quite a while now, and as Andrew said the roll-hoop must now also cover the second "seat".

Its just an Audi R8 with bits of the Bentley.
