I agree withe Dave here BUT I think that he or anyone else with this opinion should have kept it to themself. We are all aware of the good and bad things of this man but you wouldnt crash a funeral or something like that because you dont like him. I think this thread should be for people who have something positive to say, those of us who dont (such as myself) should just keep our opinions/comments out.

My thoughts do go out to his family and friends.

I would certainly not crasha funeral, certainly not, the main reason being that i respect his family and it is always bad to lose someone close

His funeral is across the road from my house! Northern Ireland is in mourning and the Belfast Telegraph's front page just says "REMEMBER ME FOR MY FOOTBALL".

DaveEllis please stop insulting me, I know that i was rude cuz i told u to shutup, but i found your comment very disrespectful, and I dont think that it warrants u to tell me to f off repeatedly. he wasn't just a great footballer, he was also a great ambassador for the game. he had problems in his life, but you calling him scum is TOTALLY inappropriate, especially in these cirumstances

This isnt the case here, but when I do, I dont expect you to disrespect my beliefs - you think I am unfortunate because I have respect for the dead, which isnt true for all people (obvious people like 'A' criminals and so on)

Sympathy for his family and friends, but lets face it - he brought it on himself and while he was at it killed a couple other people too.

Ultimate respect for the guy as a footballer, but as a person - the world's a slightly better place today.
