My Prediction:

World cup begins; England lose out on penalties, nation is depresed, Brazil win.
World cup ends.

FIFA get in touch with FIA to help with ideas to change football to draw back audiences.

- One make of boot for all players
- Extreme haircuts to be banned reducing height by 10%
- teams to start with players that finished in warm-up
- Long life players, so no need for subs
- player must be over 30 years old to reduce the speed they run for safety reasons
- Players to wait in a locked room over night from pre-training so they can't be touched
- Team Belgian to be on the line up then off the line up then off the line up again
- No ball changes during matches unless in case of puncture
- extreme camera angles including in the ball and camera's attached to players heads.

any more ideas?

My mates and I bought them through a company. You can also buy them from FIFA, I believe.

don't worry, consider the final in 1978 and we're even... no, wait, Argentina won the world cup at that match, and Holland got a ticket to be kicked out the world cup by Brazil... it's you who should consider this as a revenge ;)

I'm against sigpics

2nd: Mexico

GROUP E
Italy
Ghana
USA
Czech Republic

1st: Czech Republic
2nd: Italy

GROUP F
Brazil
Croatia
Australia
Japan

1st: Brazil

GROUP G

2nd: this is a really nasty one to pick, I might as well say South Korea ;)

GROUP H

So what do you guys say? Pretty much expected results from my point of view, not saying pure domination by the big guys though. I can see Englad tying with Sweden, Ecuador being a tough game (mostly for Poland), the USA giving the Europeans a workout (maybe defeat by 2-1), Croatia and Japan playing tougher (especially Japan the way they have been improving, and France as usual having the easy life as well as Spain, a country that no way should have had a seed for the group (Holland should have had it)!

imo, japan won't be good enough to qualify ahead of croatia. So japan out.

Oz to win - blatantly. Viduka and Schwarzer - how can they not. Seriously though, England have a chance this time - as long as Rooney and robinson stay fit

I think it was Champ. Man. 3 or CM 00/01 that Coventry had a nice amount of money to sign people :p

Gui those predictions look pretty solid, although even before the tournament I wouldn't have put Portugal ahead of Mexico. :) Still, we'll see what happens...
