It's a 1.6 litre -97 Megane. It's big enough for me to fit in, but small enough to have a good fuel economy. :P

i started a new job on monday, so am considering getting a new car sometime later this year. i've had my Escort (pictured on page 1) for 7 years in April, so i think it's time for a change.

it's only just rolling over to 60,000 miles, so it's very low mileage for a car that's 10.5 years old, was only 34,000 when i bought it in 2002 and only in the last year have i suddenly increased my mileage, doing around 10,000 travelling to work everyday.

my heart is set on a Volvo C70 in orange/saffron, just like this:





on my way to work i pass a used Volvo garage, and they have a C70 but it's turquoise like this one which is also nice:







i know Volvos are not cool, but i think it's a great looking car, and you don't see them very often. i think the shape makes it look American somehow.

The Zook has a 2 inch lift kit, sports suspension, sports shocks, rtc steering damper. Worked 1.3L 4cyl engine, reco carby, reco diffs, reco gearbox, full rebuild, goes like the clappers. The Hilux has a 2 inch lift kit, otherwise it's bog standard. Very tricky in the wet, needs a couple of slabs of concrete in the tray to hold the ass end down. Does great 360's and fishtails when you least expect it.

I got one of these last week:







Handles really well, could do with a little more power, but its mighty impressive for a 700cc!!!!(Turbo) Its a 3 cylinder, so makes a lovely noise at the top of the rev range. Decent feul economy too, i have been driving it pretty hard and am getting 45mpg!

Its a great fun, reasonably cheap, sports car. Cant wait for the summer!
