they had a DB5 on Top Gear recently. Not only did it spend the entire time breaking down (despite being an modern updated version) it was slower than a Range Rover around the track, making it the slowest car ever tested

Even if the DB5 was standard, that totally put me off it. Slow, unreliable, and not really that good looking either

Are you on another planet man? for starters, the car is 40 odd years old, so its gonna have niggles and its one of the best looking cars EVER (obviously my opinion)

Well for £125,000 I think i'd rather have the Ariel Atom, Holden Morano, and have £80,000 spare, rather than having a slow car thats going to break down

M3's a great car but you'd look a bit of a prick driving it unfortunatly - the whole BMW bad reputation thing. The CSL is an amazing car, Shame its a BMW too.

RX7 aint bad though.

I would give my right arm for an Atom.

Not literally;) but I'd still give an awful lot ;)

Plus, Taku wants one!

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

But it's nowhere near as cool mate ;)

The Juno looks like a modern racer designed by someone stuck drawing 50's concept cars.

/edit: that was at BigD

Juno is a racing car. Too much downforce, not enough raw driving.

CSL is better than good, its stunning. But its a BMW, so the dealers are crap and you have to drive around knowing people are looking at you thinking "what a prick" :P

In the UK BMW drivers had bad reputations for being @#$%& :P

There fantastic cars, no doubt. the M series, and the CSL are fantastic. And the CSL is brilliant value for money for what almost boreders on being a track day car! Just the reputation is what hurts them in the UK :) I love BMWs (altho the new styling is a bit weird, not sure if i like it), if i had the money i might have bought one....but then I'd get a Monaro for cheaper :)

Altho if you want a car that does every day stuff and is a sports car, the Vauxhall/Holden Monaro blows any other car completelty away IMO

Monaro isnt exotic :) Thats the point. Its incredibly cheap, comes with a big muscly V8 (i prfer a rough V8 over a smooth V6 Turbo), and it handels brilliantly. And because its built by Holden and not Vauxhall, the build quality is consierably better than other Vauxhalls (Except the VX220 which is built by Lotus).

Monaro really is a muscle car in a 4 Door Saloon clothing :)

Apparently Jeremy has now been banned from driving for a minimum of 2 months by his doctor, due to a slipped disc.

All the footage has been captured for this series, so all that's left is studio work, so he should be able to cope well enough for TG.

Hmm... maybe it's not the best job in the world afterall ;)
