Jackson jurors reach verdict......

I don't think that's what Muks_C meant. I think he meant that a verdict does not say much about if someone really did something bad or not, but simply if he has been found guilty or not. We cannot look into people's heads, so all we can do is look at the verdict, bearing in mind it does not necessarily state the truth, but only what is considered a plausible decision based on all given facts and laws.

Ok, lets put it this way

Guilty - he did it. He needs locked up for the rest of his life as IMO (and many others), child molestation is worse than murder as the child has to grow up with the mental pain for the rest of there life

Not guilty - he actually thinks what he is doing (getting drunk and sleeping with kids) is acceptable. Any man who thinks sleeping with kids whilst under the influence of alcohol is so seriously messed up that we cant even begin to understand his train of thought

So,
Guilty - lock him up in prison, let him rot
Not guilty - Section him. Hes clearly so messed up in the head that he doesnt know right from wrong and needs serious help before he hurts himself and more importantly others, both physically and mentally

the complete failure in prosecution terms of the boys mother and Jackos ex wife fatally damaged their case.

It could still be

Not guilty - he didn't do anything wrong at all and it was just a conspiracy by people trying to milk him.

This might be unlikely, yet cannot completely be outruled. "Innocent till proven guilty" does leave shallow taste in same cases, but it is the best system there is.

Btw, rapid - how is locking someone up without 100% proof anything close to being either "democratic" or "liberal" in the true sense of these words? Could you explain this to an ignorant forum member?

But he does actually find it acceptable to be drunk himself, and then sleep in the same bed as children...guilty or not hes said many times he sees nothing wrong with this

If he belives what he says, hes @#$%& in the head.

Another point:

The case agaisnt him had conflicting evidence yeah? What would you rather belive. That, or the case of a man who think hes 12 and finds it cool to drink and sleep with kids?

You're not required to believe Wacko, you have to believe the prosecution. No matter what the defence may say, not believing them does not make a guilty verdict.

I think it's messed up that people seem to want the accusations to be true! I also think it's a bit harsh to say he's messed up in the head. He's just different, which is a direct result of his non-existant childhood. Sorry, but it's discrimination, and it's sad to see so many people putting him down.

Bottom line... case is closed, he's not guilty.

(you can tell im a fan, can't you... :) But my points are still valid!)

"Innocent until proven guilty" makes an appearance here. They weren't able to prove him guilty, so they let him go.

He thinks hes 12. He thinks its ok to have random kids sleep in his bed. Whilst this is certainly "different" yes, i would say it qualifies as pretty "messed up" too.

In different cultures/times what he allegedly did is/was considered normal. Even if we dislike it - and who wouldn't in our culture.

Completely agree.

@ Dave: you say what you say because of your own culture. The main argument around this is you can't see past it, and won't let yourself. Nothing wrong with that though. Everyone is different... and Michael is no exception.

Sorry, explain whats acceptable about a man who thinks hes 12 years old getting drunk and sleeping with kids then

Actually, whats acceptable about a man who thinks hes 12 years old?

Whilst i accept in other cultures it may be "normal" to get @#$%& faced and find random kids to put in your bed, i dont know of any culture where it is normal for a grown man to think hes 12.

You're exaggerating tabloid nonsense.

He never said he thought he was 12, or any other age apart from his real one for that matter. It's people outside making comment to his up-bringing, and how he's still partly living a childhood which he almost completely missed out on. Dunno where you found the getting S@&% faced one from... he drinks wine now and again, and insists in putting them in coke cans to disguise them from any kids that are there.

I'm starting to get the feeling you're winding me up here... I find it hard to believe you'd think like that tbh.

You find it hard to belive i find a grown man acting like a child, getting drunk and sleeping in beds with random children unacceptable?

and insists in putting them in coke cans to disguise them from any kids that are there.

Drinking whilst in charge of kids?

Lets put it yet another way

Lets say hes inocent (yeah right...) but he didnt seak mental help for his, very obvious problem. This court case will keep coming back and back and back until oneday there is enough evidence to put him in prison and hes locked up.

Or, he does get help, does realise what hes doing is going to get him and others into serious problems, and stop,s for the good of everyone

Even if he isnt fiddling random kids, he has to realise, for his own good more than anything, that what hes doing is going to get him locked up sooner or later

yup what daveellis said. i doubt in any case there would be absolutely 100% evidence. if you take the kids stories and mothers stories, jackson himself said that he had kids in bed and gave them alcohol. and i beleive there were porno images on his pc in the same room. i mean call it circumstansial eveidence but that is pretty damning. he does i believe need to be placed ina some insttution where physoc people look at him and assess his needs.
