Its not far from the Channel tunnel in the UK if you drive from Germany

I've always wanted to go to Goodwood, but looking at the map, I think it's just a bit too far (I'm about 20 miles east of Manchester) to go, and get back for work on the Monday :(

I went to Goodwood in 2002 (i think) and it was a great day.

Anyone know ticket prices this year?

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Whereabouts do you live Glyn? I'm about 25 miles East North-East of Manchester in Huddersfield.

Yeh, I know Huddersfield. My uncle and auntie live there.

I'm about 8 miles east of Stockport.

it looks good, but certainly from what people have told me, its really busy and overcrowded. I am thinknig of going down to the revival meeting this year though, sadly the festival is just too close to le mans and the british GP for me to afford it at that time of year :( As glyn says though its a long way, bit shorter for me, but still a long way

Man my geography synoptic paper is partly on a propsed national park in the Goodwood area, so I will have to spit frogs and lizards at Goodwood for being an 'obstruction' 'polluting' 'unsightly' and so on :(

You mean despite your apparent thorough disklike of contemporary F1, you'll still go to the British GP? ;)

Let me guess.....you're going for the GP2 race? ;)
