The only time I intentially lock my brakes is if I'm in a monumental slide, and need to correct it.

Stamping on both brakes and throttle tends to straighten the car out to a certain degree.

Obviously slows you down, but at least you're still going in the right direction.

if any else fails, let the car go by itself for a bit, apply brakes heavily, then throttle, always holding tight to the steering so it doesn't move at all.

Trust me, I got used and mastered the art of spinning :P

not spinning is the intention Gui :P

my advice for all Vters is if ur gonna lose the car, teh best thing to do is lose it big time, u'll make the gallery that way!

Wooo! I'm improving - 1:10.63 still not brilliant but heh. Gotta go slower into the corners so I am more stable and also so I can get a good drive out of them

When I still drove karts, people said I reminded them of Senna :\. It's kinda tough to keep thinking "what if," makes me wonder a lot.

Haha, yeah, some pretty legendary quotes in there!

tbh, i prefer to keep it planted a lot of the time when i'm in trouble, and it works most of the time!(or have a quick 360, maybe a big accident sometimes though)

I was a kid, and just drove all I could... I didn't say it, people said it :-\.
If it's so upsetting, I can change it, but none of you have seen me driving though.

Believe me, has nothing to do with how I do in GPL, I need to have free time to practice that game. Until then, still a shame
