Rules:

1. You cannot make the answer distinctly obvious.
2. You cannot answer your own question.
3. Don't be stupid and guess any random song, that's spam.
4. Lyrics must be at least 2 lines long and 5 lines at max.
6. Only 2 clues are permitted per song.
7. You cannot post lyrics until you answer lyrics from a previous person.
8. Just have fun- I guess. ;)

I'll start:

"I want to feel, sunlight on my face,
I see the dust cloud, disappear, without a trace."

Clue 1: These lyrics are from a song done by an Irish band
Clue 2: The song these lyrics are from started a whole new fad for a genre of videos.

BTW mods, feel free to close this if you feel it gets out of hand. I just want to see how well people know their music.

That was too easy:

"U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name"

Either I didn't understand the rules it's part of the game to alienate the lyrics to make it harder to guess or you made a mistake. Shouldn't it be "I want to feel sunlight on my face"?

Anyway, it's my turn now:

"What will ya have? I

I have a hard time understanding the difference between words at points (so it sounded like some lead instead of sunlight). But anyways, I forgot to include a rule where you can't mess around with the lyrics.

That's Frank Zappa - Dirty Love (I think)

Btw, one of my favourite bands took their name from a Leonard Cohen song - The Sisters Of Mercy.

Let's see if you know this:

"Boney's high on china white, shorty found a punk,
don't you know there ain't no devil, there's just god when he's drunk"

New one:

I'd see a lot of things that made me crazy
And I guess I held on to you
You could've run away and left, well maybe
But it wasn't time and we both knew
