FX 6800!?! Nice! Wish I could afford that at the moment!

Personally I've never used the GF4 Ti, But I think its quite substantial, for starters it supports DirectX 9 and the 5900 Series was the First chip that Nvidia really got right since the GF4 Ti IMO! It's served my purposes very well over the past month! Doom works well with it lol! But I couldn't pass up the bargain that the XFX was ^_^

Actually, quite a bit. The 5900XT is a very good card, expecially for the money, but spend a tad more and you could have the Radoen 9800 Pro. Not had any probs with mine even with papy games, which I was quite chuffed about after reading all the horror stories.

lol, np Glyn I'd prefer if everyone knew the facts, it was actually quite opposite for me :| I moved from the 9800Pro to the 5900XT, I got similar speeds, but games like NFS:U, GTA etc actually worked

Which make did you have Glyn?

It's apparently made by Grandmas (never heard of them, and nor does the box even mention them!), but its 100% reference design so it doesn't really matter who makes it.

Grandmas o_O never heard of them lol, only cheap make of Nvidia cards I know is Mentor :P
