i don't agree with that. my parents are from india originally, but emmigrated here in the early 60's {father) and 70's (mother) (before they knew each other, of course_), but not because they wanted to claim asylum. my dad has worked ever since, and my mum only stopped working because of her illness and subsequent kidney transplant.

i understand what you mean, but its a bit of a sweeping generalisation so say anyone with a non-english sounding name is an asylum seeker.

i have many asian friends. one of them is called ifthikar younis so the word ayazyounis i assume is also an asian name. well the yonis bit is definately so the ayaz bit must be too. i heard it in a supermarket.

and so why did you give yourself that name? i heard the name simon philipson, but i didn't think to myself "hey that would be a great name to use on an f1/gp4 forum."

Especially not since the ensurance confirmation thingy he posted a little while ago when he lost his mobile exactly had the name Ayaz Younis. Why should the ensurance call him Ayaz Younis if his real name was John Smith and Ayaz Younis was just a name he picked up in a market?

John "Ayazyounis" Smith was in a supermarket, when the very advanced aliens abducted him, but when the alien counterpart took his place, he thought his name was Ayaz Younis, after hearing it in the market. He then lost his phone, and filed insurance replacement on that.
