Leslie Neilsen was in Police Squad and the Naked Gun films which r one of the funniest pieces of television/movies i have ever seen.

But the best one he starred in was 'Airplane' back in 1980, one of the most funniest comedies ever made. and thats official too

I'll second that opinion! It never fails to have me in hysterics, especially the John Travolta rip-off in the nightclub. Fantastic! And, of course, the legendary piece of dialogue, in which Nielson somehow sustains his brilliant straight-face: "Surely you can't be serious?" "I am serious. And stop calling me surely."
