Anyone seen the final film yet?

i think its fantastic. the three LOTR movies are among the best movies ive seen.

I don't really enjoy the LOTR movies, to be honest. I saw the second one, but couldn't really get into it much. I almost went to the UK premiere of the 3rd one because I was in London at the time, but changed my mind. They're just not my kind of films, I guess.

Ditto. I find them overwritten and stretched out too long, especially for a film which is kinda aimed at kids too. Over 3 hours - that's too long!

I do that with some films, but not this trilogy! These ones have to be seen in the cinema to appreciate how awesome they are! I've seen ROTK twice, and it's absolutely fantastic. In fact, I'm heading down to London this afternoon to catch the LOTR exhibition, which sounds great.

It was fantastic......and Alex is right, these movies are epic, and just dont work so well on the small screen, just like the star wars films i guess.
