Erm, no it wont. AOL doesnt connect through the normal PPPOE type connection that normal ISPs use. AOL uses its own client and connection program.

AOL is having problems regarding there upgrading of AOLs own servers, and MSN not being able to get through. Its an AOL server problem, rather than my machine. So it doesnt matter what i do to my machine, it wont make the server suddenly work

What is it you dont understand about that?

When AOL gets the problem fixed, i can get on, until then, the technitians and help line told me to keep trying every 15minutes or so, because they dont know when it will be back up, ok?

Zcott's is one of the few sigs that's never changed in the 4 years or so that I've been here - the others I can think of being Chet's, Gav's and Mika's(those last 2 being totally unchanged till the last forum upgrade, when their sigpics seemed to disappear, and they've not replaced them with anything since).
