Sorry for calling you a child Powerhorse but i did not realise how old you were. Yes we often take veins (not arteries as these have smaller lumens which make it impossible to transmit the blood over the heart) from legs, especially the lower leg (around the shin).

There are highpoints being a doctor, for example suceeding (very rare with me) or seeing the tasty nurses! :)
