We make the Cash registers here (hole in the wall things) by a company called NCR.

Dundee cake (G'f told me to put that in)

Jute factories during the war (she told me t put that too)

Beano and Dandy are printed in Dundee (DC Thompsons UK Headquarters)

if we can go for stuff like that, jag, rover based here, spitfire were designed and build here in the war, james watt, inventor of many things, steam engine and horsepower are 2!, cadburys chocolate, home of the industrial revolution (start of world industry)

Dundee cake (G'f told me to put that in)

There was a question in the quiz at the pub last night about that. Which Scottish city has a cake named after it? Needless to say The Boys who don't cum first(that'll be us then) came second.

Scary... a thread in which people are talking about me, and I had no idea until now! Anyway, yes I do live in Stratford. Lovely town, and I suppose it's quite famous for some reason or another! ;)

Van Morrison is from Belfast, and had his first gig where I took technology classes in my old school. Eddie Irvine's parents live about 15 miles away from my house, and Fangio raced at Dundrod once, which is about 30 miles away. I met Jos Verstappen in Belfast once, as well as Eddie Irvine, Jarno Trulli, John Watson and Eddie Jordan.

And it smells funny. :P

I live 10miles south of Norwich where Colman's Mustard HQ is.

There's also Tony Martin in Norfolk (only alert Brits will have heard of him!)

Bernard Matthews lives close and his factory is based around here.

Charles Clark (Education Minister) is MP for South Norwich (or somewhere in Norwich!)

For Newcastle FC fans; Craig Bellamy grew up here (began in the academy and then went on to play for the full Norich City team).

Martin Brundle came from Kings Lynn (NW Norfolk)

Lotus are based in Hethel (I think that's how you spell it), near where I live.

Oh yeah, and some bloke called Ralph Firman lives in Norwich. Not quite sure who he is! :)

Do I take the lead :) !!!!

I USED to live near Mark Webber, and i've driven his go-kart which started his carrer, oh now i live in a city called Wollongong (100km or 60miles south of Sydney) in a country called Australia and for any australians here:

*We have the best beaches in the World (voted 2 times already)
*We have the largest Buddest temple in teh southern hemisphere
*The Ford BA Falcon ads were filmed in wollongong
*We have won the: National soccer leauge, National Basketball leauge, and Brett and shane Lee (cricketers) come from wollongong.
*Wollongong has the largest Steelworks in teh southern hemisphere and the only one in australia.

im proud of this:

*We are the most multicutral Place in the world, we have 156 nationalities living in wollongong.

Also:
*The Beaches that they filmed BAYWATCH on, the sand was actully shipped from wollongong on a huge tanker about 10 years back.
*The symbol for Wollongong - and indeed the Illawarra - is the Illawarra flame tree. This completely inoffensive plant life is a tree and only found in the wollongong area, and is distinct by the flame-red leaves that grow on it.
*Former motor cycle racing champion Wayne Gardner also hails from Wollongong.
*Corrimal (suburb in wollongong) is where AC/DC played their first gig.

Do you brits get "streets" brand ice-cream? that first orginated from wollongong....

Do i take the trophy home back to wollongong?
