Jon invtes me to play online, i reluctantly go.

Get into the game, running quite well it was too, a nice stable 35fps, altho the track isnt greatly modeled, ucan try and overlook that

Running at the old hockenhiem of course requries setup change, so i went into the menu, faffed bout a bit, went out, was faster, but very twichy at the rear, so went and changed it again, came out of the menu and my FPS in the menu alone dropped to 2 (yes TWO) fps! So i went on track hoping it wud allow me to race with higher fps, but i crashed in the pit lane unable to drive with 2 fps

So i tried to exit the game and it CTD.....then after letting my comp recover for a min cos the HDD was going nuts i tried to rejoin, by which time the server was gone, oh joy

Jon and co kindly restarted the server for me (thanx guys)

So we restarted, i chose a different car, and it removed my mirrors.....of course, this being an EA game it was of course impossible to fix the problem because for some odd screwed up reason when playing online u have no access to any gfx options or anything...so i tried without mirrors, see a blue flag in top corner, pulled over and a got a mclaren up the rear end of chris cos i didnt know where to go

Thanx for this game EA, its really improved my thoughts on you :S

God i hope the fix things lie this because this is default game with damage mod only, nothing else has been edited at all.

Oh, so it is a bug and not my PC?

if you would open your eyes dave, you would find its not that bad!

I opened by eyes Andy, what i see was physics they improved 10 fold but still werent the best (all credit for the great improvment of course), graphical bugs galore, and tracks that dont look anything like the real thing and made me want to close my eyes again

Anyway, it doesnt matter if i had my eyes open or not, i still couldnt use my dam mirrors!

Plus sides of the online play:

Lag was almost non-exsistant and racing modern F1 was kool

Just as you fine well know, racing with no mirrors is impossible, i quit before the race cos i caused an accident in practice and didnt want to do the same in the race and make people angry

They REALLY need to fix that mirrors bug cos the fact you CANT get into the gfx options when playing online means if u have that bug ur race weekend is over

i wish i'd have saved fuel, i was leading tez by 13s on the last lap, and rann out of fuel :@:$

he won, was the only person to finish
