I can beat that, Mika.

I just went through a "Lucas Arts Adventure" revival time. I played Loom and the first Monkey Island Was hard to get these old DOS games running - had to think about all these fancy DOS commands to use in config.sys and autoexec.bat. I grew up with that, but still it was hard to remember everything about himem.sys and emm.386 commands :D

The new Real Time Swing system is great, once you get used to it you can hit the ball much better than with the click method, and it gives you much better control over how you hit the ball, ie. back swing length, club head speed and strike point. It is a lot more realistic

How could I forget Day of The Tentacle!! I took me three days to get the soundblaster setup right to hear them talking!

Day of the Tentacle IS THE adventure. Nothing has ever come close to that.

I've played Broken Sword, they are good but nowhere near as funny as the Monkey Island games (mainly the first two)

meah, my g'f plays the monkey island games, and she says grim fandango is good too

To everyone who wants to play good ole DOS games. Download a copy of DOS Box and you can play them all with sound. Truly excellent stuff. There is also another proggy to let you play them on your Palm!
