and NASCAR 2003 will be papy's last nascar game so there's actually a chance of GPL 2 being made :D that or a modern F1 sim (or both) would be fantastic. I'd love to see Papy show everyone how to make a decent modern F1 sim instead of the shite thats out at the moment

remembmer Gp 72 that never happend well i hope we get another gpl, id rather race F1 back then than now anyway!

Codemasters are doing the same thing and F1 and CART is way out in front.

I'd love to see a good CART sim. Why doesn't Microsoft do Cart Precision Racing 2?

at the moment they are unrivalled with their game physics

But physics-wise a '67 sim and a modern sim would be very different. There's nothing to say the magic formula that worked for GPL would work for a modern GP simulator. For sure, it might, and I'd love them to give it a stab, but I'd also love to see a 70s or 80s sim too

have you ever played nascar2002? its totally different to GPL , the car feels heavy like you'd expect a nascar would.

the whole driving experience is different to GPL,

so a modern F1/Cart game would be awesome by papyrus

I don't think there would be any point in them making a CART sim, as CART is on a steady decline as well. I am a CART fan, I'm sure you guessed by my sig, but the fanbase isn't there. The problem is nobody in America watches it. If they wanted to make big money an F1 sim would be the way to go. Any era really would work, but a modern sim which would run well, with Papyrus physics would be awesome.
