I was wondering if any of you have met any celebrities? I recently held a petrol station door open for Dannii Minouge. I also have met many Coventry City players (they don't really count as celebrities ;) so how about you?

Met Dannii Minogue once, but that was in HMV.

Jools Holland once took my seat at the piano in a jazz concert for a live radio broadcast, and he completely made a mess of it as he played in the wrong key. After starting it again the second time it wasn't so bad.

John Watson at a Belfast Festival Of Speed. Trulli was also there, but ran off, and Eddie Irvine waved at me after I waved at him.

Jos Verstappen was in Belfast once advertising Orange, I still have his autograph somewhere.

That's about it, really!

Can you count celebs you have seen, or talked to? Which type of "met"

@Chris - Tiff needel - lives in my village

Can you spot him because his drive has got black donuts on it, and the black lines lead down to the shops too?

I never meet famous people, it's rubbish!

The most famous guys I've met are:

Robert Prytz (Sweden and Rangers footballer)
- he was my running coach, and taught me how to do the javelin
Neil Lennon
-Northern Ireland and Celtic footballer who had to quit international football because of death threats, met him in a nightclub in town
Bob Weir
British "athlete", does shot putt
Quite a few American and British athletes actually, at a competition held at Scotstoun Arena, Glasgow (<-- where I live)
One guy gave my brother his running vest, he was the 400m hurdles World Record holder, but I forget his name

My brother plays for Queen's Park FC, so he was asked to help at the final of the European Cup last year because they play at Hampden, and he met all of the Real Madrid and Leverkusen players, and he got the Leverkusen flag that was flying at the match.

But, as I say, noone of interest.

Murray Walker, Nigel Mansell, briefly met quite a few of the current F1 crop when getting autographs, quite a few BTCC drivers (Peter Cate was round at my house the other day!), Darren Malkin (a really excellent single-seater racer - nearly won EFDA Euroseries - who if he had the right funds could have made it to the big time), and in March I'm hopefully doing another "Celebrity Kart Race" which is likely to include David Brabham and a few other racing drivers and famous people.

Oh yes, and Williams Roache (aka Ken Barlow, Coronation St.) is my second cousin. And his son, Linus Roache, who was in that Winston Churchill program which was on TV a few months ago.
