Did anybody just see Faking It? What a tosser that guy was! :)

One thing I have learnt, is that Playstation games are all arcade games, so being good at them does not mean your good in a real car. Im sure if they placed a decent GPL player in there they would of done a lot better!

It was funny at the end though when that judge said "stick to your IT mate". LOL, he didn't look impressed. Honestly, I just wanted him to fail, mainly because the guy who owns that Formula Renault car lives about 1/2 mile from me :)

Yeah, he totally made a mess of it. Just too arrogant, really. Not that that stopped a certain R Schumacher...but he backed it up with quick laptimes!

Oh that has to be the funniest thing I have EVER seen.

"Yeah erm you know the water bottle? If its on too tight it explodes? Yeah and we made a few changes to the car, the tyres we used were pre-baked..."

WTF!!!!!! I thought he was faking it as a driver not a baker! Tosser!

The interview was funny, he was talking about so much crap. He didn't really learn much at all for those 4 weeks, he just really wasted it all.

I bet you he would be crap at GP4 or GPL!!!!!!

In the practice laps he was all over the place, and he should have let that person by because he was much slower then the other guy and it wasn't even a race or qualifying.

He reminds me of someone LoL ........

He said that he follows F1 all the time, but I doubt he knows that much about F1 or motor racing in general......

And you missed the funniest show ever........

Well, he knew who David Coulthard was, and he knew that Michael Schumacher had the best car, and he knew who Johnny Herbert was....

yeah, but so do lots of ppl :P

The guy was a twit. The only good thing he did was that over-taking move...which wasnt that great since the track is bout 1/2 mile wide and the other car was miles over it.

Imagine how the guy who came last felt? He got beat by someone who had never raced before and had only been driving the car for 4 weeks....

The funniest bit was when they were in Monaco and he was trying to explain to that American that if it wasnt for the British he wouldnt be alive. Now, I wouldnt even think of doing that in an English pub, never mind a fancy bar in Monaco!

Basically a random(ish) person from the public is selected and made into a "professional" in a certain activity e.g. racing, actor, e.t.c.

They are trained for a few weeks or so then perform in front of a few judges along with other proper professionals and have to try to make the judges think that they are a proper professional in their selected genre and hence are "faking it"

Crap explaination i know but i only watched 1 or 2 episodes

Faking It is a programme by Channel 4, where they will have a member of the public faking his/her way through a job. And three specialists in that particular field have to guess between him/her and two other people from that field brought in as to which one is faking it and has been only training for this particular field for a month or so.

Previous highlights include:

1. A TV cameraman faking being a fashion photographer
2. A classical cellist faking it as a DJ
3. A telephone-answerer faking it as a TV director.

etc, etc.

So this guy last night is a computer-games tester, and he was faking being a racing driver. He had one month of physical and driving training (sometimes with Johnny Herbert), before being entered into a Formula Renault race at Rockingham. They all spotted him as the faker. The panel included ex-Lotus F1 driver Martin Donnelly, amongst others. The other two who were being judged had been racing for a few years.

I feel sorry for the guy who owns that Formula Renault car. I wonder what he got out of it?

It said it our local paper that the guy who donated the car actually lives 1/2 mile away from me. Maybe I could take it for a spin :)

Does anyone ever see the one where Jordan was helping out at the stables? Would have been quite funny if she was training to be a racing car driver.

"Where's the airbags?" :D
