Monitor Problems

I have a prob with my monitor. It was working fine last nite, but i switched it on today, after putting new ram in, and now the pc boots up, but i just get a blank screen, but the monitor light is flashing suggesting it is in standby.

In Anzes thread, Ellis suggests that it might be the PC and the HD will need reformatting, do you think i might have to do this?

Its probable one of your RAm chips arent in their slots properly. I did the same thing and had the same problem, only to see one of my RAm sticks wasnt in properly.

I'll try the RAM, as it is possible that's the problem
