Reset password button is broken

I made an account before but I made it in incognito mode since I mostly use that for stuff which means google doesn't save passwords
I wanted to reply to the post I made after I created the account but since I forgot the password I used the email thing, guess what:
It's broken, it doesn't send an email and it redirects you to an error 500 page
Pls help
