Is there anyone here that can make a few simple stl files?

I need some stl files made for plugs and caps for telescope eyepieces.

I can build them in 3D and print the prototypes here in CA.
You need to supply an accurate drawing. doesn't matter the file type (even a hand sketch will do) as I will most likely redraw it way.
Then send you the files? Do you know which filament you want to use as the sizing changes slightly;)
I'll send you a message. Thanks for the response.

I am happy to contribute to the project(B)

Am I seeing things or are the sides of the cap not vertical?

Am I seeing things or is the reference picture you sent me not vertical sides;)

LOL I can easily rebuild them I thought it was strange that they would not be vertical.

Let me know because if they are to be vertical you need more tolerance +0.5mm.

Edit: New Straight Sides .STL

The files are perfect, thanks for doing that. I'll send them off for printing soon. :-)

To create STL files for plugs and caps for telescope eyepieces, you'll first need to use 3D modeling software to design these components. Begin by selecting a suitable software like Blender, Autodesk Fusion 360, or SolidWorks, depending on your familiarity and requirements. With the software chosen, sketch out the designs considering the dimensions and features needed to fit your telescope eyepieces securely. Utilize the modeling tools within the software to shape the plugs and caps accordingly, employing techniques like extrusion, revolve, and fillet as necessary. Once the basic designs are complete, refine them to ensure a snug fit onto the eyepieces, making any adjustments as needed. Test printing the designs can help verify their functionality and fit. After finalizing the designs, export them as STL files, a format compatible with 3D printing. Use a 3D printer to bring the designs to life, selecting suitable materials like PLA or ABS and adjusting printer settings for optimal results. Test fit the printed plugs and caps onto your telescope eyepieces, making any final adjustments for a perfect fit. Once satisfied, you can confidently use the custom-made plugs and caps to protect and enhance your telescope equipment during storage and transportation.
"If you're looking for help with creating STL files, there are many tools available that can assist with design and editing. If you're working on visual content and need to expand your images for 3D printing or other purposes, you can expand an image with ai to ensure they meet your project needs.
If anyone can help with making a few simple STL files, that would be awesome! By the way, if you’re looking for a quick brain break, try playing Three Letter Wordle it’s a fun and fast way to challenge yourself!
