GP4 on windows vista[FIXED]

Today i decided to reinstall my old GP4.
My OS is windows vista 32-bit, but when i start the game it shuts down saying : gp4.exe has stopped working.
I tried running in compatibility mode and installing patch 9.6, i even reinstalled the game.
So does anyone know how to solve this?

try and run as admin

Install gpx_patch, then see if there's an error log, post it.

I also run Gp4 on Vista 32bit

I installed the game on an XP computer and ran it once on that one. Then copied the game to my current PC and it has worked ever since
It have solved problems for others aswell who has not been able to run it before

i ran as admin and gpx patch doesn't give error, the game just doesn't start up

Can you upload the files or something?

that depends on which files you want me to upload, my GP4 gamefolder weighs 4,5 GB

Hmm, i think the base files will do...

first of all, before I upload anything.. do you have an Windows XP computer near you?

Nope, vista and w7.

No error log, and i had the game installed on my pc 6 months ago
