GPGSL S7 [SEASON COMPLETED!!!] Rule Changes Announced For S8.

I'm a little concerned with the Paul Ricard circuit. Far too many cars left the track at the same place and what concerns me even more is the way Mal and Dan got stuck for so long. Mal ended the race 3 laps down, all due to his stay in the sand trap. I think this was due to the track being so short, approximately 1m 02secs long. Because of this there wasn't any gaps for him to return to the track. I'm really surprised gp4 didn't retire him, he was sat still for so long.
I'm going to reduce the AI errors to 20, hopefully this will reduce the problem.

Hehe, either way, it's fixed now. Also the renders have been added to the Wiki.
As for the race track: I think it's better to reduce the AI errors than have lots of people pissed later because they end so much down the field. Might be good though to run a few test sessions before you start with the qualifying, cause as I see it reducing the AI errors will only end in fewer drivers ending up in the gravel...but it will not help the ones that still end in there. But then again: if you end down the field your race is spoiled anyway, not much difference in driving along on P22 or with 2 laps down actually.

I've done a few tests and I think we have a solution. Not so many cars are falling off the track and those that do are recovering much better. 
I just need to convert Nick's helmet to Arai 2008 and we have a go

Somogyi puts his Scala into 6th.
Another 6th place, this time its Kittleson.
Muller makes it 2 cars in the top 10.
Jalving uses MPR's team boost to good effect.
Pedersen in 8th.
Maverick makes it a MPR 1-4 with his fancy 100th race helmet.
Elleker makes an impressive effort with 7th.

As you can see, with Marko Aleksander on pole, this is where things went awry. Lots of improvements were missed because cars on runs were missed as others entered the pits and GP4 kept flicking the cameras all over the place, very strange!
However, we have a grid for the race with a surprising pole sitter!

pretty satisfied with Juliano's result. I hope Zsigmond can recover during the race. A double point finish wouldn't be bad at all now...
