don´t know if there is a option of a partial trackpack decompression... i know that decompressing a trackpack and selecting all you want is possible :p

1. Double click on the tuh file
2. TSM will create a folder called tracks into your GP4 main directory
3. Open the subfolder of the track you want ( inside tre tracks folder ) , copy the track wad and past it on the main directory , copy the .dat file and past it in circuits folder ( main directory ) .

You have to use TSM at least for creating the tracks folder and don't worry because it will not damage your game already done . Anyway don't forget ... make a backup of your all files !
Good luck

Ricardo

I think we should have a special topic pinned at the top with FAQ's on Gp4.

pinned? why? the doubt wasn´t about... it´s possible extract a trackpack partially and select the necessary tracks? i believe this was the issue and answered (when using TSM tool it expands all the trackpack not just a specific track).

PS: if i'm wrong contact the author and i´m sure he will answer your question... bye ;-)

yes the question was...is it possible to extract a trackpack partially and selecet some of the tracks for my own gp4 game (without deleting the original tracks)?
for example i downloaded trackpack 1993 and opened tsm. Now i get following message

quote
do you want to install trackpack?
this will overwrite existing tracks if those are already installed
unquote

Does this really overwrite my original tracks?? that is something i don't want....
i just want to extract track those files somewhere and replace some of my original tracks??

obviously not the original tracks, but if there is a folder (TRACKS... for example) with tracks of the same name already installed then yes :p

if there is already a folder (used by TSM) with other tracks installed and a trackpack to be uncompressed with the same tracks (identical names) would say that is a possibility :p

see the screen
