Help appreciated with older season in-cockpit race details

Hope someone has a simple answer for this - I've been to the FAQ but can't find anything on this. I'm trying to get the detail across the top of the screen used in a number of csm mods with the detail normally found on the default steering wheel - laps, fuel etc. I prefer not to use csm mods and with the older carset wads this is very helpful. Its just how to set this up. The other thing is in the 1979 csm mod the cars run a full race distance without pitting - how can you set this up manually - in the cmagic? Many thanks in advance.
