its looking Ok, its very low poly though? thats would be my only complaint, its well done though, very hard shape to get right! i love it so far

how did you fix the texture blurring? or is ist still there at far distances?

these textures work!?

Sasjag done the textures and the mapping, but i know he did it the same was as me, so why these textures work, and yet the Mclaren didn,t i dont know :S

#Some areas are very low poly yes, namingly the windshield, but this will be fixed. the wheels need moved too in the game cos they are too far in (the car is too wide). But again, that can be fixed

erm, the textures do actually still blur, but only at long distance, but tbh i think it's more my PC than anything

Yes, its empty cos its just started

The odd thing is there is no one stable version of this car. Me and sasjag looked about and we found loads (and i do mean loads) of versions of this car. Lower ones, used in le man (no not the 99 car that flew), cars with different numbers and different sponsors

We can to the decision that the cars we will make are

Car1 - Schneider and Webber - D2 as main sponsor
Car 2 - Ludwig and Zonta - Warsteiner as the main sponsor

these appear to be the two cars that ran consistantly throughout the 98 FIA GT series

Rest of the GT series will hopefully follow too, altho some cars are hard to find pictures of

i was at the FIA gt several times in 98, i can scan stuff from the British empire trophy, and Donnington rounds if you like?

there were 3 cars (i was a massive GT fan at this time), the one with blue red and yellow mirrors, i.e the warstiener one, the D2 one, and the one with a women on it, hehe, i cant remember the sponsor, there was of course also the pearson racing mercs

yeah, we ain't doing car 3, on the basis that were doing 2 car teams

Nice work Ellis but it did took me time to upload the WIP image though.

I am a Le Mans fan ( I going to this year's race) and I will be looking forward to drive that car in my game.
