It would be FANTASTIC but i don't know how to convert sounds, i find this one on internet so ...

we will see if someone is able to do that ...

that will be great in gp4,i like a lot when in f1 2010 you go on the limiter of the gears,and the car screams like that xd,let's hope that someone will make it

i've found my cd
i install it and i try to take the sound

if you can wait for the next gp @ monza.....i can record sounds from onboard selection from bbc.......you can get form this onboard & external if needed....
better sounds than codies i think......did you have a specific car sound in mind ?

ok.....i'll give it a try on monza race day......the ferrari & mclaren ....

It's weird because the more "realistic" the sound you use as the source for your in game sounds, the more you find people say it's "unrealistic" haha.. I used real sounds for my pack and they were based on how it sounds when you are watching F1 cards in real life, and whilst it was the most popular at the time, a lot of people said they didn't like certain sounds, when they were the actual sounds of an F1 car.

What people expect to hear in a game and "think" is realistic is sometimes different to what is actually a realistic sound, but I'm a purist - the more "real" the better for me. If you could get some good onboard and TV footage for your samples, you should be able to use any decent audio program to shift the pitch to get the correct note for the game and you're sorted..

Let me know if you get some good samples and want some help extracting the correct tones/pitch etc. I don't mind helping - I'd love to see a good 2011 sound pack.

That's true Baz. I made a 2000 Honda pack, and somebody told me that it sounds like nothing :s But I used an actual recording, without any distortion. People are strange sometimes

actually i'm usung mitsuro sano's 2010 mclaren sound and it's good to me,but i'd love to have a mclaren 2011 engine,coz of the exhausts position this year they sound a bit different,anyway to me they are always good works,really appreciated what you do guys,thanks
