Track Order

Hi

Is it possible to rearrange the tracks in the game to get the 2003 order??

I know GPx Patch can change the track order, but you still need to arange the wads. the game does not like rearranging these!!

Anyone know anything?

try renaming those wad files??? dunno whether it works or not, coz i haven't try it but who knows! maybe it'll work too!

and also the *.dat file

wait a min! i think renaming the *.dat file will do...don't need to rename the wad file...

i take it gpxpatch wont let us yet then?

No , renaming the *.dat files causes the track to load, but the scenery is messed up!!!

Using GPx Patch only does exactly the same thing.

Renaming the wads was the first thing i tried, and that does not work. The game crashes half way through loading a circuit.

There must be another way.... anyone using a track editor know anything??

Why don't you use Paddock Champ to keep track of the championship, and run the races as non-championship races instead. That solution should give the same, if not more, than you would get by using the built-in Championship-mode in GP4.
