pitlap editor problem

i downloaded pitlap editor and tried to change settings for my tracks....when i try to update setting i get following message
cannot open c: programm files/infrogames/grandprix4/gp4.exe ???

have you ran/opened it with administrator priviledges? So ran it as admin?

how should i do that? i have windows xp

If you right click it might say "run as administrator". If not then go on properties and "run this program as administrator". Im not totally sure because i dont have XP.

its not possible in xp.

Have you tried "shift + right click on the application, then select run as..."? As i said i have W7 so its kinda hard for me to figure out...

is it becasue this programm is not compatible with version gp4.exe 1.02??

It may not be compatible with 1.02 - I'm not sure but you can set the number of pit stops/laps in c magic. Just open a dat file and then extract the magic data which can be edited in a text file. Its very quick and easy when you get the hang of it. I don't use TSM but I believe its as easy if not more so in that.
