Noob needs help :D

Hey guys

Im thinking of putting GP4 on my computer again and basically I need to know whats the easiest/best way to mod the game, Ive tried doing it in the past which includes putting cars in (which 9 times out of 10 always turned out looking completely white) and putting tracks on (which never actually worked out lol), I think you get the gist that it hasn't worked out for me so I want to ask for any help (I want to mod it to the 2010 season)

Any help that you guys can give me on where I can get the car's, tracks, steering wheels and all the other stuff will be really appriciated

Download ZaZ Tools and GPxPatch.

Install GP4 and then patch it using the ZaZ Tools patchdownloader (it's on the Start Menu).

Run the game, calibrate your graphics, sound and controller and run a race to make sure everything is ready.

Make sure you set your graphics manually (Options -> Graphics -> Advanced) to high res car textures (this is probably why you were getting white cars before).

Download a 2010 CSM mod (I recommend josekast's over at GP4 Forever). Or if you want to create your own just download an empty CSM mod and you'll find plenty of 2010 downloads in my sig.

It gets to a certain percentage then, usually around 28% and then just stops working and pops up with an error saying something wasnt found and cant be installed :/

OK you'll need to be more specific about the error for us to help . Whats the exact error - which file can't it find?

Im guessing its a failure with the CD

I think it would be fine if someone with a decent connection could up an .iso for this guy.
