cannot resize textures of tdl's sauber

I cannot open the .tex files with slimtex or tex resizer,please I need to resize them,my machine cant take so much detail.

you have to rename it to tga only ^^

Means that I rename kobayashi,perezand wing tex files to .tga files?

i have tested it and it works
i've "created" the tex files

please tdl,your other cars(virgin,hrt) do not have this problem.

yes
the virgin and the HRT texes are made with texresizer but not the sauber texes(Was a little bit lazy).

i only renamed the tga files to tex files

you have to undo it only

I've also tried renaming the tex files as tga - it doesn't work - how are you able to do it?

Renaming to tga doesn't do anything except changing the file extension.
It doesn't make them tga and doesn't change its resolution.
It's impossible that you'll notice performance differences by just renaming the extension.
What errors are you experiencing with Slimtex?

The error is this if you try to open files with slimtex: "Not file Tex "
