[REL/WIP] TV Manchete, TV ESP logos and TV Record logo[REL/WIP] - Projection TV Record Logo Screenshot

Hello guys. Another FP WM-A Blog series here in GPG.org called [INFO] creates another topic.

I was creating a TV logo for GPxPatch to put in my GP4 (As real or fictional).

But, anywhere has a tutorial?

TV Manchete (defunct since 1999) and fictional TV ESP now are released.

I now finding a Rede Record (Brazilian network in air since 1953) TV logos from 1994 to 1997 times.

Ahem........

So ... You want a tutorial to add a TV logo so that it appears in GP4?

Okay...

Very simple... Lets take F1 Logo as the logo you want to show as an example

Open a notepad...

Paste this text:

[Images]
Enable=1
Count=1
CountOnTop=1


[Image1]
Path=f1.tga
X=890
Y=100
Width=128
Height=64
SrcWidth=256
SrcHeight=128

===========================

Save this file as TV.ini inside Grand Prix 4\gpxpdata\pnl folder.

Make sure you have the f1.tga (that is your tv logo) in a TV folder inside Grand Prix 4\gpxpdata\pnl folder.

Note: X and Y are the positions where the logo has to appear on screen.
Width and Height are the size of the image to appear on screen.
SrcWidth and SrcHeight are the source image Width and Height.

CountOnTop if set to 1 will force the image to appear on top of anything that is below it or in the same position as the logo.

Okay... You can follow the second part of the code and add as many as possible.

Make sure you set the Count value as the number of logos you want to use and Image number has to be unique for each logo.

Once it is done... Open GPxPatch... Click GPxCinfo....

Select an empty slot... Browse and load the TV.ini file (Use the first slot if possible).

Play the Game... The logo should appears where you want it to!!!

Screen resolution by default is 1024x760 for the example I have used.

Try - the same coordinate in the code...

X=890
Y=100

Y is anything from 50 - 150... Then check it...

Just for information : Whatever your real ingame resolution, GPxpatch compute all coordinates as if you were using a 1024*768 resolution and then scale them to the exact size.

Err... I meant it has to be 1024x768..

If you can send or PM me the Logo .tga file... I can put it up in place for you...

It is not difficult at all!!!

Sorry but no. I used an TV Logo as base to made a two brazilian networks (A real and a fictional)

Looks like you have learned how to position the logo where you want... on screen..

I don't want the logos... Just trying to help...

Well, I now find a TV Record (Brazil) from 1994 to 1997 TV logos.

Anything helps me? Searching in Google?

That will starts a another WIP in same topic.

Yo again! I now found those logos in Google search and I remaked in CorelDRAW.

Look this image below:



In soon, ingame test and finally, release.

(Today, those logos are not see in brazilian television.

About talking those Record TV logos in upper post,

There some videos of "idents" of most old brazilian TV of first.

Idents 1993 to 1994:




Idents 1995 to 1997:












I not found a TV Manchete (Defunct since 1999) ident video.
TV Eddie and Their Peugeots (or Eddie e Seus Peugeots in portuguese) is a fictional network television
and there no idents.

Maybe I will continue working in TV logos to revive the B-tone's work.
