Rear light flashing too fast!

Rear light flashing too fast!

I have a question: when I run Gp4 with a old AMD Athlon 2000+, rear light was flashing properly, at the right speed!
Now I run Gp4 with a C2Q and the Rear light is flashing too fast!
Someone knows if there's a way to fix it or depends on cpu speed?
