Season 1995 Mod final Version 2.21 released

I think I may have found what causes the 2 race problem. Open the 1995.csm with notepad and erase the last line (Minimumspace=180). Didn't crash for me after that when I did 2 consecutive races.


Two more things:
-gpxsound is disabled in the gpxpatch.ini
-my soundupdate won't work with v2.21 as the mod UID has changed

Hmmmmmm... i tried this, but it doesn't fix that for me.
Do you mean to erase all the string or only "180"?

version 2.2 was only 132 mb and 2.21 is so big(500 mb).
why is there such a huge increase in file size?
also,can the version 2.21 be uploaded elsewhere other than mediafire?
i do not have a very fast internet connection.
mediafire does not support resuming downloads.

I have a problem when trying to install the mod file 1995 Version 2.21.csm not showing


I have now got the mod installed by copy everything from the rar file to mod install directory

Kedy, I don't think that deleting this line will fix the problem. I have several mods with this line and none is crashing.
What we can test is to delete the "hi_seatbelt.tex" in the Cars\Shared\Hi directory or replace it with a lower res one and see if the game still crahes. If it does not crash anymore, than mortal was correct with his interpretion of the crash log

ooleeeo, the difference in size is related to the fact that the archive includes the carset as folder which is not packed with CSM.

carling, please delete your old 1995 mod folder in Grand Prix 4\GPSAVES\Carsets and then extract the archive to this directory.

I was a bit surprised too, but believe it or not, it worked for me. I can do several races consecutively now without crash, once I add the line it starts crashing again .

Also my crash log looked different, it mentioned the jordan_195_4.tex and the jordan_car1_lod0, but never the seatbelt.tex or the benetton lod0.

Maybe convert this TEX files to TGA and them back to TEX can work too.

Anyone can test?

That's really a strange behaviour. I have no explanation for this. Anyway, if it solves your problem, it's good

I did a quick test:
With original and recreated file (with tex-resizier) hi_seatbelt.tex I get crashes when re-entering the track (Interlagos) after changing to car-setup menu. With the hi_seatbelt.tex from std folder copied into hi folder I have no crash, tested this several times.

Can anyone verify this?

For the 2 races crash problem I think I found the origin of that. I deleted the folder Benetton, and the problem disapeared... So I don't know why, but it's seems to come from here !

Bloody Benetton, always causes troubles :D

Good afternoon. I´ve installed this nice mod but dashboard digits are static in cockpit view, is that normal or have I made a mistake during installation?. Alternatively, are any specific steering wheels to be used in cockpit view?, I can´t find out how.

Please help.
