All 12 teams included in the file, so you will have to drop the team you don't have in your game. The performance file was calculated with real times by the Performance Calculator made by prblanco.

Get the Turkey Race performance now! Updated the first post. Could I get some feedback how realistic the perf file is as I can't play GP4 because my graphic card dont work?

Thanks kerley and excalibur!

Hi,
Thanks for the file. As for feedback: i only did one session so far but it looks like kartikayan performance is too strong. He was fastest. Other drivers were realistic. Also i wouldnt include hrt, but only the fastest teams. But overall: great job!

I've included all teams, so you have to delete a team to use it. I don't know why Karthikeyan was the fastest, looks ok for me in the performance file, maybe I will lower the teams strength in a race.

First Driver=22,narain karthikeyan,14304 [Strength in race],649 [Variation of race strength],15522 [Strength in quali],3305[Variation of quali strength]
Second Driver=23,vitantonio liuzzi,14960,608,13840,723

Maybe try it another session, the perf is looking alright for me. Is someone having the same problem? I will maybe lower the team strength in my next update.

EDIT Just noticed that Lotus was missing, just added it to the performance.txt and lowered the team strength of HRT. Download it in the first post.

the problem is the quali vari of Karthikeyan. This is extremely high.....
Ah, I didn't even saw it. Thanks for the hint, somogyi! Will upload one with a lowered quali variation for Karthikeyan asap.

Edit: Had a wrong qual lap for him in the excel file, wouldn't have find it without you guys. Thanks!

Okay, added the new perf file. Should be right now. How are the strengths now? :-)
I like it iaquinta.

Could you do trackspecific perfs race by race? Incluiding the initial races of 2011?

Yeah, I could easily do this. I will do this maybe tomorrow. Thanks kerley. :-)

Edit: Added the trackspecific performances. Got the variation set on 768 like it was set on the performance calculator. I think its better than setting it at 0.

Actually, 768 is a fairly big variation - in the calculator, it's a default value when the drivers have too few laptimes to be used for the calculation (as in the case where a driver only raced once in the season). Normal variations should be around 100-200 for the more constant drivers, 500-800 for the least constant.

As an alternative to make trackspec perfs for race X could be:
- In tabs 1-5 put the values from race number X.
- In tabs 6-7 put the values from race number X-1.
- In tabs 8-9 put the values from race number X+1.
- In tab 10 put the values from race number X-2.
- In tab 11 put the values from race number X+2.

This makes it a weighted average, where race X has a bigger weight in the calculations, but nearby races also have an influence. This makes the effect of a one-off weekend less pronounced. (This is an example, of course - you can repeat the values in different proportions)
An incorrect usage of trackspec calculations would be, for example, in Brazil 2010, setting the perfs in such a way that Hulkenberg will always be in contention for pole-position, even in normal qualifying conditions.

Also I use these rules when inserting the values:
- Discard race lap times from drivers that retired before completing 25% of race distance
- Discard race lap times more above 107% of fastest lap

This way, Karthikeyan's best lap at Malaysia would be discarded. His "best" lap was too slow, which probably made his average lower than it is and his variation bigger. So by deleting his lap at Malaysia, values would be closer to reality.

Wich physics file should be used with these performances?
Thanks for specific race perfs iaquinta!

Thanks for the hints, I gonna update my performances tomorrow to match your hints. Really helpful, thanks!
