I think Paul might have stopped, at least for awhile. He released a "50% done" version but no more news afterwards

Maybe we should ask him nicely for the source code. That'll either get us the source to finish it, or give him a prod to finish it.

But source code is not needed for a track/car editor, we already have all the materials, we only need the will (sure we have) and plenty of time (not so sure) to do it.
But anyhow, i'm not sure it would be a 3D track editor, but maybe only a track convertor to export track into another 3D format and then import it back to the game after having edit the track in a real 3D editor.

But for now it's a huge task and nobody has really go ahead for it.

I've seen track editor images for GP4, 3D an all bit like the one for GP3 - who's the author of that one??
