GP4 Comeback & News

Hi Guys

It's been along time since i've been part of this community, but i'm glad to say, i'm getting all my old GP4 files and more back up and running again and with years of skills ever growing, i'm really looking forward to getting some GP4 work released again
Digging through my workshop of folders and files the other day got me thinking about GP4 and this community.
Alot happens in almost 3 years, hope some of the old faces are still around here, also what's hot stuff and who's around at the moment releasing hot new stuff, who's new & who's packed up and moved on, also any big news to tell us...
Hope GP4 is still going strong, I'll start working on some new projects soon, once I get warmed up.

Fantastic news to have you back Flash, can't wait to see your future projects you will see some old faces are still here, some are gone or are quiet but still follow up things...then there surely are new faces as well and very good new painters and modellers for example Soulbringer (well he is not so new anymore as he has done cars since 2009) mpad etc and also new tracks keep on coming and Lo2k has constantly updated gp4builder and other programs

Thanks for all the comments guys thank you all.
I'm checking out some of the great new stuff flying around for GP4 and there are some cracking stuff out there at the moment keep it up everyone.
I feel abit like a newbie again... it's funny.
Does GP4 still run & mod the same as before or is there some new add-ons to get my hands on?
Also hows GP4 for new stuff for 2011?
Like:
New Timing System? New Tyres? Teams or Helmets? etc...
Just looking to start working on some new projects thats fresh for GP4.

seems like nobody has answered

anyways gp4 still runs and is modded similar way.. wad's can be compiled with csm, gp4master,easywad or wadupdater.

there is still old timin system but it's updated to 2011 graphics, sadly full 2011 timing style isn't possible without recoding gpxpatch program, Rene Smith could help out if someone has the skill and knowledge to recode gpxsat codes, his forum is here: [realgpx.com]

there is various new tyres done (more wouldn't hurt!:D) shape and textures from mpad, textures from josekast and excalibur and I have done ones myself too but haven't released them in public helmets are been done by DaiMOn and few others. there is not many cars for 2011 , most of 2011 cars are based on 2010 and just have textures and shape modifications.

@vesuvius: Thanks for the info mate There is still alot of room for new stuff, which is good news also I remember the gpxpatch code being pretty to recode, i'll look into that area again and see if I come up with anything
