I am trying to get McLaren to use Michelin tyres in my 2002 version of GP4, only they won't. I change it in CSC4 to Michelin, but then in game they are still Bridgestone, even though I have exported the settings back to the game.

All of the other teams are fine.

Also, where can I get good 2002 Michelin tyres. I tried Mr. Evil's, but they crashed the game!

Thanks for any help

Try the program called tyreset 1.8 from LO2K it might do the trick for you.

(if you load an old carsetup then it will show the tyres used in that and not the new ones you altered through Tyreset).

Yep, I solved that bug in tyreSet some time ago so it's working now with the 1.8 version.

Tyre set doesn't work though! It performs an 'illegal error' when I open it up!

Thanks

Hmm, do you tried the 1.8 version ?
Else, you may try Cameditor, just to see if it works and then try again TyreSet as using CamEditor sometimes fixed some bugs in the past with my other tools :)
Else, you may have some trouble with your GP4 installation or win98 install : /

I have some tyres now thanks Ellis.

I am using v 1.8.I tried using GP4 edit instead, but that says that the .exe is the wrong size. I am using a decrypted .exe, but obviously not the one that GP4 edit needs!

There shouldn't be anything wrong with my installations, as everything else works fine. I'll try cameditor

Thanks

Using the cam editor worked! :D Only I couldn't use the cam editor. It kept saying 'wgl something error. I then went to the tyre editor and that worked, and now the cam editor works!!!!!

Wierd, but thanks :D
