a few years ago i did something similar myself. one of the biggest problems i encountered was to make it work with the cc cars. if you have too much braking force in the physics file they'll try to slow down to speeds a formula 1 car would do on the straights. if you have to little braking force they (and you obviously :P ) will crash at every sharp corner.

used to be GPGSL's Nick Heidfeld

The chassis was set on 530 kg(the weight of a current F1 car without the driver and with empty tank).

Yes, I got what I was looking for! ;-)

When Soulbringer finishes the designing process of the X1, I'm eager to help with the physiscs to make it have a performance close to the GT5 one.

I'm WIP with X1 physics.

These days I explore the highest engine power GP4 can handle.

I use sets of "physics engine power" + "performance" + "engine torques"
Each pack is edited to a specific engine power data.

1483bhp is not working for all cars.
1400bhp is not working for all cars. Rear wheels spin on high gears - I think this is strange, should occur the opposite?
1300bhp works for AI cars but not for player. Player's car still spins the rear wheel on high gears and cannot get to full speed.
1200bhp works for AI cars and for player on nedium downforce circuits. On low downforce circuits like Monza, rear wheels still spin.

Going to test with even less power, may be 1150 will work... everywhere.

I can help with the grip-relating figures, though ;-)

Thank you ArturCraft.
It's always nice to get some help...
So, send me your mail via PM and then I'll send you some files to work with tyres grip.
