I know everything about the closure of Microprose and stuff.

I have read the latest interview so I know about the rough story of the series.

I know there are a whole lot of problems starting with the licenses...

I'm a long time F1 and Grand Prix series fan. (1996 and about 1999 respectively.)

I know this topic is just might going to be closed for whatever reason.

But...

My purpose is just to ask a favor.

Geoff, if you read this, in the name of those who feel like me, please get yourself together, get a team, a computer, time, license, and make Grand Prix 5.

Because honestly, after comparing the latest developments in F1 sim making (i. e. F1 2010) with your 'mere' 8 years old masterpiace of GP4, I think it's a justified favor... You know you can do better.

Thank you.

Atticus.

In the early 2000s, who just would not let licensed Formula 1! I think the problem can be solved with the license, if you try!

You know, a new version of Grand Prix World would be way more awesome than Grand Prix 5... But that´s only my opinion ;-)

will never be a GP5 unless mr. geoff resolve out of retirement to present us with another of their work. the thing is even settle for MODs :-)

even in 2002 EA Games and ISI had F1 official license and Sir Geoff bought the previuos year license. But actually i'm pretty sure uncle Bernie will ask too much money even for previuos seasons...

Anyway, a little OT: i always wondering about a game that cover almost a decade of F1 history... like 1988 - 1998 for example... maybe it's not a mass target game, but i'm pretty sure that many virtual racing fans will like it (if it'll well done)

My workthread with all RELEASED and WIP stuff

I would prefer a season 2007-2008 where it hasn't create anyone an official video game for these seasons

Waiting for GP5, you can yet play CARS and its Lotus 68, Lotus 77 and Renault 86 F1 models.

Yes, the license can be expensive! But if Jeff really takes up the case, then why do not we all help him? I'm a fan of gp4-we have a lot and many people know this game! GP5 would be simply a masterpiece!
